3.9 Magnitude Midnight Earthquake Near Mancherial Triggers Panic in Maharashtra–Telangana Border Areas

A mild earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter Scale struck near Mancherial late Wednesday night, causing panic in bordering regions of Maharashtra and Telangana. According to the National Centre for Seismology, the tremor occurred at around 11:49 PM at a depth of 10 km.
Residents in areas like Sironcha and Ahiri reported feeling the ground shake, with utensils falling from tables and people rushing outdoors in fear. The epicenter was located about 109 km northeast of Karimnagar.
Officials confirmed that no casualties or property damage were reported, though the sudden midnight tremor caused anxiety among residents in the border districts.
