Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol unveiled a bronze statue of their legendary characters Raj and Simran from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge at London’s Leicester Square, marking 30 years of the iconic film.
The statue stands as a tribute to DDLJ’s timeless cultural impact, its record-breaking run in Hindi cinema, and its role in shaping global South Asian identity.


Sharing photos from the event, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his joy and gratitude, quoting the film’s famous line: ‘Bade Bade Deshon Mein, Aisi Chhoti Chhoti Baatein Hoti Rehti Hain, Senorita!’ The celebration brought back memories for fans worldwide as the beloved duo marked this historic milestone.​
