Amitabh Bachchan Praises Agastya Nanda’s Powerful Performance in ‘Ikkis’

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has penned a heartfelt note praising his grandson Agastya Nanda for his performance in the film Ikkis, calling it “nothing but perfection in every shot.” Bachchan lauded Agastya’s maturity, honesty, and strong on-screen presence, describing the film as emotionally moving.

In Ikkis, the 24-year-old Agastya Nanda portrays Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of India’s highest military honour, the Param Vir Chakra. Khetarpal was martyred at the age of 21 during the Battle of Basantar in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, and was posthumously awarded the gallantry honour for his exceptional courage and sacrifice.

Amitabh Bachchan’s praise has added to the growing appreciation for Agastya’s performance, with many calling it a career-defining role for the young actor. The film has drawn attention for its powerful storytelling and emotional depth, paying tribute to one of India’s bravest war heroes.
