Food delivery platform magicpin reported strong growth in 2025, with Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad emerging as the top cities in terms of food delivery volumes. The company added over 6 lakh student and corporate users through its Inner Circle programme during the year, reflecting a growing shift towards value-driven and habitual food ordering.
magicpin, India’s third-largest food delivery firm, onboarded more than 80,000 merchants across food delivery, budget dining, and fine dining segments. Its 15-minute quick delivery service, magicNOW, contributed 13% of total food delivery orders after expanding to 20 cities in 2025.
According to magicpin’s How India Eats report, food demand peaked during celebrations and late-night hours, with metro cities such as Pune and Kolkata also showing strong growth. Biryani emerged as the most-ordered dish of the year with nearly 10 million orders, while chicken rolls topped the snack category. The platform also recorded a single customer in Delhi-NCR spending ₹20,000 on pizzas.
