Andhra Pradesh: Techie Killed After Truck Container Falls on Car in Chittoor

In a tragic road accident in Chittoor district, a software engineer lost his life after a shipping container fell from a moving truck and crushed his car near Iruvaram village. The incident occurred on Friday morning around 8:30 am, police said.

According to Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi, the container suddenly slipped from the truck and landed on the vehicle, killing the driver on the spot. The impact completely damaged the car, leaving no chance for rescue.

Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances that led to the container falling from the truck. The incident has once again raised concerns over road safety and the secure transport of heavy cargo on highways.
