AP SSC Results 2026 Announced: Girls Outshine Boys, Pass Percentage Rises to 85.25%

Andhra Pradesh: The Class 10 (SSC) results for 2026 have been officially announced, showing a notable improvement in overall performance across the state. The pass percentage rose to 85.25%, up from 81.14% last year. Girls once again outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 87.90%, compared to 82.68% among boys. Over six lakh students appeared for the examinations conducted between March 16 and April 1. The results were declared by HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh via social media. Students can check their results through the official website, WhatsApp governance service (Mana Mitra), LEAP mobile app, and DigiLocker. Among districts, Parvathipuram Manyam district emerged as the top performer with an impressive 96.07% pass rate, while Alluri Sitharamaraju district recorded the lowest at 57.12%. Government schools also showed improvement, achieving a pass percentage of 78.39%, compared to 72.8% last year. The Board of Secondary Education has announced that supplementary exams will be held from May 25 to June 4, with fee payment scheduled between May 1 and May 9. Students can also apply for recounting and re-verification starting May 1. Congratulating the students, Minister Lokesh praised their efforts and encouraged those who did not pass to stay motivated and try again with confidence.
