Apple iPhone Exports Hit ₹2 Lakh Crore in FY26, Boosting India’s Manufacturing Growth

Apple Inc. has achieved a major milestone as iPhone exports from India touched a record ₹2 lakh crore in FY26 under the government’s PLI scheme. This makes Apple the country’s top branded export contributor, surpassing sectors like diamonds, fuel, and pharmaceuticals. The growth highlights India’s rising strength in electronics manufacturing under the “Make in India” initiative. iPhones accounted for over 75% of India’s total smartphone exports, reflecting rapid expansion in production and global demand. In another key development, John Ternus is set to take over as CEO, replacing Tim Cook from September 2026.
