Bengaluru & Delhi-NCR Lead India’s AI Job Market, Account for Over Half of Openings: Report

Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR together account for more than 50% of India’s AI-related job openings, with Mumbai pushing the combined share to nearly 70%, according to a report by CBRE South Asia Private Limited.

The analysis, based on over 64,500 active listings on Naukri.com as of December 2025, found Bengaluru leading with a 25.4% share, followed by Delhi-NCR at 24.8% and Mumbai at 19.2%. Engineering (Software & QA), Data Science & Analytics, and Customer Success & Operations emerged as the top domains driving AI hiring demand.

The report highlights India’s growing leadership not only in AI development but also in implementation and global service delivery, reflecting the expanding role of artificial intelligence across industries.
