The BJP criticised the Congress government’s plan to merge 27 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) with GHMC, calling it unscientific and politically motivated. State president N. Ramchander Rao warned the move could strain infrastructure, increase taxes, and slow development, demanding its immediate withdrawal.
