BRS Leaders Prevented from Leaving Telangana Bhavan; Opposition MLC Delayed from Hospital Visit

Police prevented leaders and workers of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) from leaving Telangana Bhavan on Saturday. Legislative Council Opposition leader V. Madhusudhana Chary was also stopped while attempting to visit NIMS Hospital, despite informing authorities of his medical needs.

After a prolonged delay and under police escort, Chary was finally allowed to proceed. The move triggered protests and slogans from BRS leaders and workers, who criticized the state government and police for obstructing movement. Chary described the incident as “a dictatorship,” questioning why basic medical visits were blocked.
