CM Chandrababu Naidu Plans ‘Cocoa City’ & Major Horticulture Expansion in AP

N. Chandrababu Naidu has unveiled an ambitious plan to strengthen agriculture in Andhra Pradesh. The government aims to expand horticulture cultivation to 50 lakh acres and set up a world-class “Cocoa City” to boost farmer income and innovation. The CM emphasized natural farming, multi-cropping, and certification-based marketing to help farmers earn better returns. Plans also include expanding horticulture hubs, promoting crops like avocado and pepper, and supporting farmers with modern technology and doorstep services. This initiative is expected to transform the agriculture sector and create new income opportunities for farmers across the state.
