The Cyberabad Police is exploring the adoption of an Artificial Intelligence-based predictive traffic management system to tackle increasing congestion and enhance road safety amid rapid urban growth. The initiative aims to strengthen data-driven planning and modernise traffic regulation across the Cyberabad region.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh led detailed discussions on integrating smart technologies to improve signal coordination, optimise traffic flow, and strengthen enforcement mechanisms. Officials believe AI-powered analytics can help predict traffic patterns, reduce bottlenecks, and enable quicker response to incidents, ultimately improving commuter experience and public safety.
The proposed system reflects the department’s focus on leveraging advanced technology to build smarter, safer urban mobility infrastructure for the future.
