The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has ramped up its road safety initiatives by repairing a massive 13,378 potholes across the city in recent weeks. This intensified drive aims to improve road conditions, reduce accidents, and provide smoother commutes for motorists and pedestrians alike. Officials say the focus has been on high-traffic areas and accident-prone spots to ensure maximum impact and safer travel.
The GHMC’s proactive approach has been welcomed by residents, many of whom had long complained about damaged roads causing vehicle damage and posing serious safety hazards. With ongoing maintenance efforts and increased monitoring, the civic body hopes to bring lasting improvements to Hyderabad’s road infrastructure and enhance overall public safety.
