Harmanpreet Kaur Becomes Most-Capped Player in Women’s International Cricket

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur created history by becoming the most-capped player in women’s international cricket during the second T20I against Australia, marking her 356th appearance for India. She surpassed the previous record of 355 matches held by New Zealand legend Suzie Bates.

Kaur now leads the all-time appearances list ahead of stars like Ellyse Perry, former India captain Mithali Raj, and England great Charlotte Edwards. Since her debut in 2009, she has built an extraordinary career across formats, cementing her legacy as one of the finest leaders in women’s cricket.

The milestone adds another achievement to her decorated career, which includes leading India to a historic ODI World Cup title and multiple series victories in recent years.
