HC Rejects PIL Demanding 4× Compensation for IndiGo Flight Cancellations

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday refused to entertain a PIL seeking fourfold compensation for passengers affected by IndiGo flight cancellations in November–December following new FDTL rules. The court said the issue is already being examined in an earlier petition and allowed the petitioner to seek intervention there. The plea cited large-scale disruptions, delayed refunds and inconvenience to over 12.5 lakh passengers, but the bench cautioned against multiple PILs on the same issue.
