Hyderabad: ACB Suspects Deputy Transport Commissioner’s Driver as Benami in DA Case

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has suspected the private driver of Mahabubnagar Deputy Transport Commissioner Mood Kishan to be a benami in a disproportionate assets (DA) case. Despite earning a monthly salary of just ₹20,000, the driver allegedly owns luxury cars and a palatial house worth over ₹2 crore.

During raids conducted as part of the investigation, ACB officials found two cars—a Honda City and a Vitara Brezza—registered in the driver’s name. The driver reportedly fled during the raids and is currently absconding. ACB teams later discovered that he owns a lavish house in a prime residential area of Alwal, raising serious questions about the source of his wealth. Officials said efforts are underway to trace and arrest the driver as the probe continues.
