Hyderabad Airport Tightens Security After 4 Bomb Threat Emails; Cybercrime Unit Investigates

Hyderabad’s RGIA went on high alert after four bomb threat emails were received within 12 hours, targeting flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai. Three flights landed safely after thorough checks, while one returned to its departure airport as a precaution. All threats were declared hoaxes.

Cyber Crime police have traced the emails to spoofed IP addresses and launched an investigation. Airport operations remained normal with enhanced security measures.
