38th Hyderabad Book Fair to Run from December 19 to 29 at NTR Stadium
Hyderabad: The 38th Hyderabad Book Fair is set to take place from December 19 to 29 at the NTR Stadium, with organisers highlighting a vibrant, festival-like atmosphere celebrating the love of books, especially for children.
This year’s fair will feature 365 stalls and a wide array of literary and cultural programmes aimed at reinforcing the social and cultural importance of reading. Organisers emphasized that the event goes beyond buying and selling books, with curated sessions designed to engage diverse sections of society and promote reading as a cultural practice.
Continuing the tradition of honouring contributors to literature and culture, the fair’s premises and stages have been named after notable personalities. The venue will be called Praja Kavi Andesri Premises, the main stage is named after artist Anishetty Rajitha, the book launch stage after Kompally Venkat Goud, the Writers’ Point after Professor S. V. Ramarao, and the Media Point after Swetcha Votarkar.
