A tragic road accident in Hyderabad’s Malakpet area claimed the lives of a couple after a TGSRTC bus rammed into their motorcycle late on Thursday night. The impact threw the couple onto the road, and the rear wheels of the bus reportedly ran over them, killing them on the spot.
The victims were identified as Tirupathi Rao and Venkatamma, residents of Suryapet district. According to family members, the couple had recently arrived in Hyderabad to visit their daughter. Upon receiving information, Malakpet police rushed to the scene, registered a case, and launched an investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the fatal accident.
In a separate incident, police in the Hussaini Alam locality seized a country-made weapon, highlighting ongoing law enforcement efforts in the city.
