Hyderabad: Airport-Style Sleeping Pods Now Available at Charlapalli Railway Station
Great news for travelers heading to Charlapalli Railway Station—the station now offers airport-style sleeping pods at affordable rates, enhancing passenger comfort.
Under the Amrit Bharat Scheme, Indian Railways is modernizing stations across the country to provide better facilities to travelers. Following this initiative, sleeping pods similar to those found at airports have been introduced at Charlapalli Railway Station, allowing passengers to rest comfortably during long waits or layovers.
The new facility at Charlapalli includes 32 single-bed sleeping pods, with half allocated for men and half for women. Passengers can now avail these pods at reasonable charges, providing a convenient and safe resting option.
Previously, such facilities were available at Guntur Railway Station, and now Charlapalli travelers can also enjoy similar modern amenities. This step is part of Indian Railways’ broader effort to improve passenger experience and make travel more comfortable.
