India Reiterates ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, Calls for Religious Harmony at 11th UNAOC

india reiterated its commitment to Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and Sarva Dharma Samabhav at the 11th United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in Riyadh, stressing dialogue, mutual respect and religious harmony amid growing global divisions.

Leading the Indian delegation, MEA Secretary (East) P. Kumaran highlighted India’s civilizational values and diversity while delivering the national statement at the High-Level Meeting of the Group of Friends of UNAOC. He underscored the role of the forum in promoting harmony among nations and cultures.

Hosted by Saudi Arabia from December 14–15, the 11th UNAOC brought together global leaders, faith representatives and civil society to renew commitment to dialogue and understanding in a multipolar world.
