Indian embassies in the Gulf and Iran have issued urgent safety advisories asking citizens to remain vigilant amid escalating regional tensions.
The Embassy of India, Doha released an important advisory urging Indian nationals in Qatar to exercise caution, avoid unnecessary travel, and closely follow updates from the Embassy and local authorities. The mission clarified that it continues to function as usual.
Similar advisories were issued by the Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi, Consulate General of India, Dubai, and the Embassy of India, Tehran, advising Indian nationals to stay indoors where possible and monitor official communications.
The advisories come in view of the evolving regional security situation, with authorities emphasising precautionary measures to ensure the safety of Indian citizens abroad.
