IPL Betting Racket Busted in Andhra Pradesh: 12 Arrested in Nellore

In a major crackdown on illegal betting activities, police in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh have busted an organized online betting racket linked to the Indian Premier League. A total of 12 individuals were arrested, including the alleged kingpin, Shaik Fariyaz. According to officials, the syndicate was operating through an online platform known as “Radhe Exchange,” facilitating illegal bets on IPL matches. The investigation revealed that the group had routed over ₹37 lakh through as many as 28 bank accounts to manage transactions and avoid detection.
