K. T. Rama Rao, working president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), has demanded a response from the BJP-led Central government regarding Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s alleged claim about being prepared to send ₹1,000 crore to the Indian National Congress high command in Delhi.
Speaking in Adilabad, KTR questioned why central investigative agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and the Income Tax Department had remained silent despite what he described as serious remarks reportedly made by the Chief Minister.
He called for transparency and accountability, urging the Centre to clarify whether any inquiry would be initiated into the matter. The issue has sparked political debate in Telangana, with both ruling and opposition parties exchanging allegations over governance and financial integrity.
