Lockheed Martin, in collaboration with Tata, has celebrated the delivery of the 250th C-130J Super Hercules tail unit produced at their Hyderabad facility. The empennage, manufactured by Tata Lockheed Martin Aerostructures Limited (TLMAL), is shipped to the United States for final aircraft assembly and supports C-130J aircraft operating worldwide.
This milestone highlights the success of the long-standing aerospace partnership between India and the United States. TLMAL, a joint venture between Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) and Lockheed Martin, was established in 2010 in Hyderabad and has since become a key player in manufacturing critical aerostructure components for global defense programs.
The 250th delivery underscores the capabilities of India’s aerospace industry and strengthens its role in supplying advanced military aircraft components to international markets.
