Medak: Sarpanch Candidate Suffers Heart Attack a Day Before Polling

A sarpanch candidate suffered a heart attack at Jangarai village in Chinna Shankarampet mandal of Medak district on Friday night, a day before polling. The candidate, identified as Sanjeeva Reddy (58), was contesting the election with the support of the BRS.

Following the incident, he was immediately rushed to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad for advanced treatment. Hospital sources said his condition is critical. The sudden medical emergency has caused concern among supporters and villagers, especially as it occurred on the eve of polling.
