MTAR Technologies Secures ₹310 Crore Order for Kaiga Nuclear Reactors

MTAR Technologies on Thursday announced that it has secured a ₹310 crore order from Megha Engineering & Infrastructures for the supply of equipment to Kaiga Units 5 and 6 nuclear reactors in Karnataka.

The order involves the manufacture and supply of critical equipment for the civil nuclear power project. With this latest contract, MTAR’s total order value for Kaiga 5 and 6 reactors has reached ₹504 crore, including an earlier order worth ₹194 crore received this month, the company said in a regulatory filing.

According to Parvat Srinivas Reddy, Managing Director of MTAR Technologies, the deliveries will be executed in a phased manner up to February 2030.

MTAR Technologies operates nine strategically located manufacturing facilities, including an export-oriented unit in Hyderabad, and serves key sectors such as civil nuclear power, clean energy, space, defence, fuel cells and hydel power.
