Mumbai Smashers Clinch Pickleball League Title as Hyderabad Royals Falter


In a spectacular finale, Mumbai Smashers defeated Hyderabad Royals 5-1 to claim the Indian Pickleball League (IPL) title in Delhi. The league, backed by The Times Group and sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, witnessed Mumbai rise from sixth place to champions in a remarkable run.

The final, held at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, saw Mumbai dominate the Royals, capping their turnaround in front of dignitaries and enthusiastic fans. Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs, Mr. Kiren Rijiju, was present to witness the historic victory.

Mumbai Smashers’ performance has been hailed as a miracle run, showcasing resilience, skill, and determination, while Hyderabad Royals were left to rue their faltering performance in the title clash.
