NBA Releases ₹39.84 Cr for Red Sanders Conservation in Andhra Pradesh


The National Biodiversity Authority (NBA) has sanctioned ₹39.84 crore to the Andhra Pradesh Forest Department and the Andhra Pradesh State Biodiversity Board to protect and propagate the rare Red Sanders trees in the Eastern Ghats, raising India’s Access & Benefit-Sharing disbursements beyond ₹110 crore.
