No Role for MEA in Salman Khan’s Film on Galwan Clash, Says Spokesperson

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has clarified that it has no involvement in Salman Khan’s upcoming movie “Battle of Galwan”, which portrays the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley.

At his weekly briefing, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that issues regarding filmmaking in India are handled by the “relevant authorities,” and the MEA has no role in this or similar projects. The movie’s teaser, released on Salman Khan’s 60th birthday, has already drawn criticism from Chinese media.
