Ashishkumar Chauhan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), visited Tirupati on Sunday along with his family and offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Temple, seeking divine blessings for the exchange, its members, shareholders, and the nation. He described the early morning darshan as a peaceful and fulfilling experience.
The visit coincided with positive signals regarding NSE’s long-awaited Initial Public Offering (IPO). A day earlier, SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey indicated that approval for NSE’s IPO could be granted within this month. Chauhan termed the timing of the announcement and the Tirupati visit as auspicious, calling it a good omen and a blessing from God.
With regulatory developments progressing, market participants are closely watching NSE’s proposed IPO, which is expected to be one of the most significant listings in India’s capital markets.
