The iconic All India Industrial Exhibition, popularly known as Numaish, will come to an end at Nampally Exhibition Grounds on Sunday, February 15, with organisers confirming that there will be no extension this year.
The annual exhibition, which began on January 1, completed its 46-day run and attracted lakhs of visitors from Hyderabad and nearby districts. Weekends witnessed particularly heavy crowds, with families thronging the venue to shop, enjoy food stalls, and experience entertainment activities, making it one of the city’s most anticipated yearly events.
Around 1,050 traders from across the country participated, offering a wide range of products including ready-made garments, handicrafts, footwear, imitation jewellery, cosmetics, dry fruits, home décor items, furniture, and electronic goods. The exhibition has long been known as a major platform for small businesses and artisans to showcase their products.
Officials stated that the exhibition grounds will be closed to visitors from Monday, after which traders will be given time to pack and move their merchandise. The successful conclusion of this year’s event once again highlighted Numaish’s cultural and commercial significance in Hyderabad.
