Pakistan to Lodge Complaint Against India U19 Players with ICC

The Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 final ended with Pakistan defeating India by 191 runs, thanks to a historic century from Sameer Minhas. Pakistan posted a massive 347/8, while India was bowled out for 156 in 26.2 overs, securing Pakistan’s first U19 Asia Cup title in 13 years.

However, the match was marred by tensions on the field. Pakistan Under-19 coach Sarfaraz Ahmed raised concerns about the behaviour of Indian players, prompting Mohsin Naqvi, PCB chief and ACC head, to announce a formal complaint to the ICC over the alleged provocation.

Speaking at a reception hosted by Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Naqvi emphasised that sports and politics should remain separate while confirming that Pakistan will report the matter officially to the ICC.
