BRS Reschedules Key Party Meetings Due to Parliament Winter Session
Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has postponed its State Executive Committee and Legislature Party (BRSLP) meetings in view of the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament. The meetings, originally scheduled for December 19, have now been rescheduled to December 21.
Party sources said the decision was taken on the directions of BRS president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao to ensure the participation of BRS Parliamentary Party members, as the Winter Session of Parliament is set to conclude on December 19.
In a statement, senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao announced that the rescheduled meetings will be held on December 21 at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad.
Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Council, and Members of the Legislative Assembly are expected to attend the meetings. The party will deliberate on key issues, including irrigation projects, interstate water-sharing disputes, and formulate an action plan.
