Nidhhi Agerwal, who stars alongside Prabhas in the upcoming film The Raja Saab, was mobbed by fans on Wednesday night during the launch of the song “Sahana Sahana” at Hyderabad’s Lulu Mall. What was meant to be a celebratory event quickly turned chaotic as an overwhelming crowd surged toward the actor.
Despite security presence, fans reportedly broke through barricades in an attempt to get close to Nidhhi and take selfies. A video from the incident has since gone viral on social media, showing the actor struggling to move through the crowd while appearing visibly distressed. In the clip, she is seen clutching her dupatta as security personnel push back fans to clear a path to her car.
Once inside the vehicle, Nidhhi is seen adjusting her clothes and appears shaken by the experience. The incident has sparked widespread outrage online, with several netizens condemning the crowd’s behaviour and calling it “disgusting” and “deeply disturbing,” while raising concerns over celebrity safety at public events.
The song launch event, which witnessed a massive turnout, was also attended by The Raja Saab director Maruthi. The incident has once again highlighted the need for better crowd management and stricter security arrangements at high-profile promotional events.
