Priyanka Arul Mohan’s ‘Made in Korea’ Set for Direct OTT Release on March 12

Director Ra Karthik’s upcoming slice-of-life comedy drama Made in Korea, starring Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead role, is all set for a direct OTT premiere on Netflix on March 12.

The film follows Shenbagam (Shenba), a young woman from Tamil Nadu who dreams of visiting South Korea. Her fascination with Korean culture eventually leads her to Seoul, where she encounters unexpected challenges that shape her journey of self-discovery, resilience, and meaningful connections.

Produced by Rise East Entertainment, the film explores cultural similarities between Tamil and Korean traditions while presenting a heartfelt story about aspiration, identity, and belonging. The cast also includes South Korean actors Park Hye-jin and No Ho-jin, adding authenticity to the cross-cultural narrative.

Priyanka Mohan shared that she felt deeply connected to Shenba’s character, describing the story as one rooted in curiosity, hope, and emotional growth. With its warm storytelling and global appeal, Made in Korea aims to resonate with audiences across cultures.
