PSG Clinch Champions League Title in Club World Cup–Dominated 2025

Club football dominated the 2025 season, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) emerging as one of Europe’s biggest winners. PSG claimed their first-ever UEFA Champions League title with a dominant 5–0 victory over Inter Milan, underlining coach Luis Enrique’s focus on team cohesion over star power. However, they fell short in the FIFA Club World Cup final, losing to Chelsea.

Elsewhere, Liverpool, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Napoli secured domestic league titles, while Ousmane Dembélé was named Ballon d’Or and FIFA Best Men’s Player. In the United States, Lionel Messi led Inter Miami to MLS glory as preparations gathered pace for the 2026 World Cup.
