Railways Approves New & Extended Train Services Between AP and Telangana

The Ministry of Railways has approved new and extended train services connecting Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Key additions include Charlapalli–Narasapur and Narsapur–Tirupati weekly express trains, along with increased frequency of existing services. Extended Content: In a major boost to rail connectivity, the Ministry of Railways has introduced new train services and extended existing ones across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The South Central Railway announced the launch of the Charlapalli–Narasapur Weekly Express, which will operate from May 2, connecting key stations like Nalgonda, Guntur, Vijayawada, and Bhimavaram. Additionally, the Narsapur–Tirupati Weekly Express will begin from April 27, improving access to the holy city of Tirupati. Further enhancing connectivity, the Indore–Lingampalli Humsafar Express has been extended to Charlapalli, providing direct links between central India and Telangana. Meanwhile, the Kakinada Town–Lingampalli Express will now run daily instead of three times a week, benefiting regular commuters. These developments are expected to significantly improve travel convenience, boost regional connectivity, and support both pilgrims and daily passengers across the two states.
