Rajasthan Shivers as Cold Wave Brings Sharp Nighttime Temperature Drop

Jaipur: Rajasthan recorded a sharp dip in night temperatures on Monday, with Fatehpur in Sikar registering the lowest at 5.3°C, officials said. Cold wave conditions are expected to continue across several parts of the state, impacting daily life.

Other low temperatures included Nagaur at 5.9°C, Lunkaransar (Bikaner) at 6°C, Dausa at 6.5°C, and Vanasthali (Tonk) at 7°C. Sirohi and Karauli recorded 8.1°C each, while Pilani (Jhunjhunu) settled at 9.1°C. Jaipur saw a minimum of 11.7°C.

The Meteorological Department has forecast that cold wave conditions will persist over the next few days in multiple regions of Rajasthan.
