Mulapadu (Vijayawada): Ram Charan played a brilliant innings of 148 runs off 155 balls (14×4, 8×6) to help Hyderabad post 301 on the opening day of the Vijay Merchant Trophy Under-16 Elite Group match against Maharashtra.
Prince also contributed with a solid 73-run knock, while Maharashtra’s Neel Chandratre took impressive figures of 6/50.
At the close of Day 1, Maharashtra were 10/0 in 1 over, setting up an exciting contest for the remaining days of the first-round match.
