Mumbai: Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda has officially announced his next film, Rowdy Janardhana, sending fans into a frenzy. Adding to the buzz, actress Rashmika Mandanna showered praise on Vijay after the release of the film’s intense first promo.
Rashmika re-shared the announcement post on her X (formerly Twitter) handle and wrote, “Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s goooo!! @TheDeverakonda.” She later posted a more detailed and enthusiastic reaction on her Instagram Stories, applauding Vijay’s performance and the overall vibe of the promo.
“You Rowdy fellow. Such mental stuff this is! What visuals! What music! What vibe! What an actor! You boys are crazy and I love it,” Rashmika wrote.
Vijay unveiled a power-packed, blood-soaked promo from Rowdy Janardhana on Instagram. In the visuals, he appears shirtless, drenched in blood, sporting long hair, a thick moustache, and a dark lungi, while wielding a machete. The actor will be seen essaying the role of a feared rowdy from Kalingapatnam.
Sharing the promo, Vijay captioned it:
“The Biography of a Wounded Man. In 1 year. #RowdyJanardhana December 2026.”
Beyond their professional lives, Vijay and Rashmika continue to make headlines for their rumoured relationship. The Dear Comrade co-stars have often sparked speculation by appearing together at airports and vacationing at similar destinations.
