Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) posted a 9.6% year-on-year rise in net profit for the September quarter, reaching ₹18,165 crore. Strong growth in retail and telecom segments, along with a rebound in its oil-to-chemicals business, boosted results, though higher inventory losses impacted sequential earnings.
