Sabarimala, Kerala:
The Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple has recorded ₹92 crore in revenue during the first 15 days of the Mandala-Makaravilakku season - a 33% increase compared with ₹69 crore last year.
According to the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB), the surge is driven by strong aravana and appam sales, along with heavy pilgrim turnout.
Nearly 13 lakh devotees visited the shrine till November 30, contributing to the significant rise in collections.
