Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming film Battle of Galwan, based on the 2020 India–China Galwan Valley clash, is set to release in theatres on April 17, 2026, the makers announced on Saturday, coinciding with the actor’s 60th birthday.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, best known for Shootout at Lokhandwala, the film features Salman Khan in the role of an Indian Army officer. The announcement was made with the release of the film’s teaser, which presents the actor with restrained intensity, quiet authority, and a strong military presence.
