Tech Mahindra Launches National Chess League for Speech & Hearing-Impaired Children

The Tech Mahindra Foundation, the CSR arm of Tech Mahindra, has launched a nationwide Chess League for children with speech and hearing impairment under its ARISE+ disability programme. The initiative aims to make chess more accessible, inclusive, and aspirational for specially-abled young players across the country.

More than 130 children have registered for the league so far. Winners from each participating city will be given a special opportunity to witness the prestigious Global Chess League (GCL) Finals live in Mumbai this December.

The Foundation said the programme reflects its continued commitment to empowering children with disabilities through sports and education.
