The Telangana High Court has granted relief to the producers of The Raja Saab starring Prabhas and Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu featuring Chiranjeevi in the matter of ticket price enhancement. A Division Bench clarified that the December 9 single judge order, which restrained ticket price hikes, was limited in scope and applied only to certain big-budget films like Pushpa 2, Game Changer, OG, and Akhanda 2. The Bench emphasized that the issue of ticket pricing for these two films rests with the State government, allowing the producers to submit representations for benefit shows and possible price increases. The court recognized the potential prejudice that continued restrictions could cause and confirmed that the prior order should not apply to all film releases, enabling the filmmakers to legally pursue ticket price adjustments.
