The Telangana High Court has allowed the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to continue the e-auction of 4.19 acres of land in Budwel, Rajendranagar, under specific conditions. The court’s decision came after it temporarily suspended an earlier order that had set aside the auction process due to procedural objections raised by some participants.
While permitting the continuation of the auction, the court directed the HMDA not to declare the highest bidder or finalize the sale until further orders are issued. The matter will be reviewed again in December 2025, when the court is expected to decide on the legality of the auction process. This ruling ensures that developmental activities are not stalled, while maintaining judicial oversight and fairness in the bidding procedure.
