TGTET Exam to Be Held in 15 Sessions from January 3 to 20
Hyderabad: The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TGTET) will be conducted over nine days in 15 sessions between January 3 and January 20, 2026, according to an official press release issued on Tuesday.
With the examinations scheduled to begin on January 3, many teachers are balancing their regular classroom responsibilities while simultaneously preparing for the TET.
The School Education Department received a total of 2,37,754 applications, including 85,538 for Paper-I and 1,52,216 for Paper-II. The applicant pool includes both in-service teachers and candidates from outside the teaching service.
The Chairman of the TGTET stated that the examination will be conducted in multiple sessions across the scheduled dates, and detailed timings for each session will be announced separately.
