Trump Criticizes Zelenskyy for Not Reading US Peace Proposal Amid Ongoing Russia-Ukraine Talks

Florida: Former US President Donald Trump has criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for not yet reading a US-authored peace proposal aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine war.

Trump made the remarks on Sunday following three days of US-Ukraine negotiations in Florida, where officials sought to narrow differences over the proposed plan. Speaking to reporters, he suggested that Zelenskyy’s inaction could be holding up progress in the peace talks.

Meanwhile, Russia indicated openness to the US strategy, even as fresh strikes across Ukraine killed civilians, highlighting the continued human cost of the conflict. The talks in Florida are part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to find a resolution to the nearly two-year-old war.
