A young man was brutally stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in Royal Colony under the Balapur police station limits in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Murshid, was attacked with knives and sustained fatal injuries, dying on the spot. Police suspect that a previous financial dispute may have led to the murder.
Soon after the incident, Balapur police rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area. A Clues Team was deployed to collect forensic evidence.
The body was later shifted to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered, and police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the attackers and to ascertain the exact motive behind the crime.
